What you'll do
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Support daily routines, meals, and light housekeeping
- Follow the nurse-guided care plan and report changes promptly
- Build trusting, respectful relationships with clients and families
Minimum qualifications
- Active New Jersey CHHA certification
- At least 18 years of age
- Dependable, punctual, and a strong communicator
- Able to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation
Licensing and certification
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification
Preferred qualifications
- Prior home care or facility experience
- Experience supporting clients with dementia
Schedule expectations
Shifts are assigned based on client needs and your stated availability. Punctuality and dependable attendance are essential.
